From now on, there is an easy way to report boards directly — thanks to a new “Report” button in the board view.

  • Users can give feedback or report problems via the new button
  • You will be redirected directly to the Help Center
  • A structured form opens there, which collects all necessary information, including with regard to regulatory requirements

  • Presentation in a hierarchical structure for a better overview
  • Two-way synchronization ensures that changes in WorkCanvas and monday are automatically reconciled

Formulas can finally be used in the automation flow

From now on, you can use values from the formula column directly in your workflows.

What's new?

  • Formula values can be retrieved using the “Get Item Data” block
  • They can be included as text in emails, notifications, or updates
  • With the converter blocks, formula values can be converted into numbers or data
  • This allows you to use them in all fields that expect numbers or data — completely integrated in Workflow Builder

Use Case

  • Email with formula value: You can now display a calculated result in an automated message
  • Convert date or number: Formula value as text? Convert with one click and reuse in the next step, e.g. for due dates, amounts or periods.
  • Full integration: Use formula values in all actions where you work with calculations, filters, or conditions.

Not Found” branch: Workflows continue to run — even if nothing is found

Status of update: fully rolled out

A common problem in automated processes is finally a thing of the past:
Users can now set a “Not Found” path for “Find Items” and “Find Subelements” blocks. Instead of stopping the workflow if nothing is found, you can now decide what to do next, such as:

  • Sending a notification
  • Create a backup item
  • Update a status
  • Or any other action supported by workflows

Use Case

  • Sales CRM: If no suitable deal is found, the responsible sales rep automatically receives a message or a new entry is created
  • Tasklink: If the linked subitem does not exist, a status can be set or a replacement flow can be started
  • Onboarding: If the profile item for a new employee is missing, it is created automatically without manual intervention
  • Content Review: If a review task cannot be found, the responsible person is informed to check the setup
