monday.com released new features every month in 2025. We covered them in eleven monthly posts. This review pulls them together, sorted by product area: monday AI, work management, CRM, dev and service, platform. At the end you will find all new features in a table by month. If a feature is not available on every plan, we name the plan or add-on.
At Elevate in December 2024, monday.com previewed 2025: an AI-powered workflow builder, mondayDB 3.0 and more integrations with HubSpot, Salesforce and SAP. We have not checked those announcements one by one here. The sections below describe what actually appeared in the monthly updates in 2025.
monday AI
Since 10 February 2025, monday AI has been a paid feature billed by usage. In April, the admin area gained an overview of which boards and workflows use the most credits. In June came a table of actions per AI block and the estimated time saved, and in November a new way of counting credits.
- January to March: The Extract block reads several columns and images, and later more file formats. Also new were AI calculations in number columns, label suggestions, automatic assignment of people, Summarize with extra instructions and updates as input.
- April: Every cell shows whether the AI produced it. Clicking the frame gives the reasoning and, for empty results, a hint on what you can change.
- May: Admins decide who may use AI features. AI columns offer a preview of the results, and you can repeat the prompt.
- June: AI Dashboard Reports turn dashboards into reports as a monday Doc. The AI Companion edits text directly in the Doc (rolling out gradually).
- July: Text to Filter turns a description into filters. Extract from multiple files reads several PDF, Word and Excel files at once.
- August: The Prompt Improver rewrites your prompt. The column menu suggests suitable AI features for your board.
- September: The Notetaker (add-on) joins meetings in Zoom, MS Teams and Google Meet and creates summaries. You create new columns from a text description, which uses no credits.
- November: In monday vibe, you can undo changes to apps.
The MCP server (Model Context Protocol), released in July, connects external AI tools such as Claude or Cursor to monday.com. They read and change boards, items, columns, updates and comments. monday.com announced docs, dashboards and automations for later.
monday work management
In work management, 2025 was about resource planning, mainly for Enterprise accounts.
- March: Resource Planner and Capacity Manager (Enterprise).
- May: Capacity can be grouped by role, location or skills, and resources can be filtered by them (partly rolled out).
- July: AI Smart Assignment suggests specific team members instead of placeholders, based on skills, roles and availability (partly rolled out).
monday CRM
- January: Chrome extension for leads from Gmail, calendar and LinkedIn, a Sequences column and 30 new automations.
- February: Sales Activities Report (Pro+) and contact sync with Google and Microsoft.
- March: Timeline for emails and activities (Pro+) and AI autofill for activities. In May a column was added that counts interactions from the last 45 days, and in June filters and search in the timeline.
- April: Products and Services board. You attach products to deals and use their values in quotes and invoices.
- June: Discounts per product (fixed or percentage), signature fields in quotes and invoices, and a Goals widget in the dashboard. In August you could choose between quote and invoice directly when creating.
- July: Meta Funnel integration. Leads come from Meta Ad Manager into the CRM, and deal results (won or lost) go back.
- November: AI Sales Agent, which makes calls, qualifies leads and books appointments. Also Notetaker meetings in the timeline and Chrome Extension V2.
Sequences were adjusted most often during the year. May brought click tracking, detection of automatic replies and the email signature, July the estimated time to the next step and the Enrollment view, and August file attachments. November added starting from any step, an unsubscribe link and analytics.
