  • Move item to another board
    Move items from a source board to a target board and define column mappings, such as “Email” → “Customer Email.”
  • Find a linked sub-item
    Enables you to find a linked subitem in order to trigger targeted actions on it - ideal for complex project structures.
  • Update Item & Subitem
    Update multiple columns at the same time with just one block - at both item and subitem level.

Use Cases

A lead is recorded and automatically moved to the customer board - including defined column assignment. If a status is changed in an Epic Board, the appropriate Subitem in the approval board is automatically adjusted.
A production update automatically changes the timeline, owner, and date - in a single step.

With this update, sub-items (subitems) are significantly more powerful - two new functions provide more automation options and precision:

  • Trigger when creating columns in the sub-item: A workflow can now start automatically as soon as a specific column is created in a sub-item.
  • Detect & edit column value changes in sub-items: With the “Change column value” action block, individual fields in a sub-item can be specifically updated - based on changes within the same sub-item.

Use Cases

When a specific sub-item is created (e.g. “customer approval”), this can automatically trigger an approval process.
If the status of a sub-item changes, this can affect other sub-items - for example if there are dependencies in the project plan.
