In June, monday.com once again published numerous exciting new features, from practical improvements in CRM to new admin functions and the next steps in terms of monday AI.
Whether it's a better overview of managed templates, flexible discounts in offers or smart PDF exports: The updates make everyday work more efficient and transparent, for admins, sales teams, project managers and everyone who works with monday.com. And because some of the new AI features are just being rolled out, we're also taking a quick look at the future.
Let's start with the highlights of the month!
Work OS platform
New dashboard for managed templates
Status of update: fully rolled out
Attention enterprise admins! From now on, there is a new usage dashboard for your managed templates. This gives you an overview of everything without Excel lists or guessing games.
What's new?
In the new dashboard, you can see:

Managed templates: solve instances flexibly now

For everyone who works with managed templates, there is now even more flexibility: Individual boards created from a template can now be solved individually.
What does that mean?
As soon as a board is removed from its template:
- Does it no longer receive automatic changes from the template
- Can it be adapted, archived or reused independently
Use Case
- One Project manager Would like to design a board individually, e.g. for a one-off project. Now it can be solved easily.
- One Portfolio manager Separate old project boards from the template in order to archive them as they were before new versions are released.
New admin panel: more modern, clearer, more efficient
Status of update: fully rolled out
The admin panel has been completely redesigned and is now presented in a new, clearly structured design.
- More consistent appearance for better orientation
- New sidebar navigation that makes it much easier to access settings and areas
Especially for admins in larger accounts, the redesign provides noticeably more efficiency in everyday life, because everything can be found more quickly and is more intuitive to use.

API token management: More control for admins & security teams

From now on, admins in enterprise accounts have significantly more visibility and control over personal API tokens.
What is possible?
- An overview of all personal tokens
- Tokens can be specifically revoked if necessary
- Tokens can be easily searched by user
- The latest tokens can be quickly identified
Especially for administrators, CISOs or internal security teams, this is an important step towards greater transparency and security, without detours through support or individual inquiries.

Export board views as a PDF - once or automatically

From now on, you can export any board view as a PDF, including the original layout and all widgets. This not only keeps your dashboards clear, but also makes them easy to share.
What is possible?
- Export at the push of a button or scheduled at regular intervals
- Ideal for reports, meetings, or external communication
- Visually clearly structured, even for recipients who don't use monday.com themselves

AI dashboard reports
Automatically create understandable reports from your dashboards, including title, description and image for each widget, directly as a monday doc.
AI Companion in Docs
Edit content directly in the document with the AI panel: generate, summarize or optimize texts without changing the context.

Generate Document with AI
Start Docs even faster now: Thanks to improved prompts, the AI immediately creates suitable layouts and content for your use case.

monday CRM
Improvements to offers & invoices
Status of update: fully rolled out
For everyone who creates offers or invoices with monday CRM, there are now two practical new features:
Discounts directly at product level
From now on, you can enter discounts directly in the document for the respective product. Optionally as a fixed amount or as a percentage. This ensures full price transparency for your customers.
Activate signature fields
In addition, signature and countersignature fields can now be inserted directly into offers and invoices. This is particularly helpful for companies that require a handwritten signature for legal or compliance reasons.

New filters & search in the CRM timeline
Status of update: fully rolled out
The Activities timeline is now even more helpful thanks to advanced search and filter functions.
This allows you to find exactly the information you need, whether it's past meetings, emails or other customer activities.
Use Case
- Keep an eye on meetings: A sales employee would like to see all appointments with decision makers over the last 30 days and with the new filters, this is no problem.
- Specific follow-up: Want to find a specific email from last month to follow up? Now you can simply search the timeline for it.

New Goals Widget: Always keep an eye on goals
Status of update: fully rolled out
With the new Gauge Widget, CRM users can easily track their performance against defined goals at a glance, directly in the dashboard.
Ideal for sales: From individuals to management, current progress can be clearly presented visually.
Use Case
- Sales manager in reporting: Sales managers can present their goals quickly and clearly: for example, in a monthly meeting or to management.
- Transparency within the team: Admins who create dashboards for different teams or roles can customize the goal displays individually for more clarity in their daily work.

monday Service
New login for the service portal: Now with SSO
Status of update: fully rolled out
For users on the Enterprise plan, there is now a new login option for the service portal: Single sign-on (SSO).
In addition to the classic email/password login, you can now also log in via an identity-based provider (IDP).
Use Case
A company's IT department sets up SSO for the internal service portal. This means that even employees who do not have monday.com access can seamlessly access the portal via the company login.

monday AI
An eye on AI usage: New overview for admins
Status of update: fully rolled out
For accounts with activated AI, there is now a new tool in the admin area: The AI Action Breakdown Table.
This shows:
- How many actions were used per AI block
- How much estimated time was saved by using the respective blocks
Perfect for making the added value of AI functions measurable and passing it on in a targeted manner.
Use Case
- An admin analyses which AI blocks save the team the most time in order to further promote them in a targeted manner
- Best practices can be shared internally so that the entire team benefits from the most efficient AI features

A glimpse into the future: These AI features are just getting started
Status of update: fully rolled out
The development around monday AI continues and there are some exciting new features that will make everyday work even more efficient:
Web search with AI
The AI will soon also be able to retrieve data from the web or linked files, ideal when information is needed off the board.
Subitems as input
In the future, it will also be possible to use Subitem data for AI actions at parent level, which will further improve the depth of context.
“Write with AI”
Updates can soon be created directly via AI prompt, including automatically built-in context using board data.

These features are currently still being phased in, more details will follow as soon as they are available to everyone. But one thing is clear: The future with monday AI remains exciting.
